Ian's Star Trek Screen Saver

Screenshot

This is a Star Trek screen saver that I wrote myself. It might not be amazing or anything but I think it's a bit more interesting that the usual picture changer type that you usually find. You can get more info on it and download it at my Ian's Star Trek Screen Saver page.

Bomber Screen Saver

Bomber

This is a screen saver written by my friend Jonathan Wallis. It's based on the classic game Bomberman. It generates a screen made up from blocks, some of which are destructable and some are indestructible. Then two computer controlled guys try and blow each other up with bombs. When one of them dies a new screen is generated and they start again. It's very clever. I could sit and watch it for ages. You can download it here: Bomber Screen Saver (458KB). It doesn't have an installation program, it's just a zipped file. Unzip it (with WinZip or something), put it in your "C:\Windows" directory then you should be able to select it from the Display Properties in the Windows Control Panel as normal.

Zinf skin: Tronic

Tronic Zinf skin

This is a skin for the free mp3 (and other audio files) player Zinf. I called it Tronic because it was based very loosely on a cheap radio/alarm clock I have, the make of which is Tronic. After you download it, just put it in your Zinf themes directory and then select to use it in the options. You can download it here: Tronic.fat (73.5KB)

VLC Media Player skin: Tronic

Tronic VLC skin

This is a conversion of my Zinf Tronic skin for VLC Media Player. To use it make sure you are using the skinned version of VLC then press Ctrl-S and just select this skin. You can download it here: Tronic.vlt (54.9KB)

Dizzy Wallpaper

Dizzy

I was inspired to create this wallpaper by the excellent website www.desktopgaming.com. It has lots of wallpaper based on actual screens from various video games. Dizzy was probably my favourite game on my Spectrum which is why I chose that. I have submitted my Dizzy wallpaper to that website, so you can download it there, but you can also just download it directly from here: DizzyWallpaper.png (1600x1200) (29.5KB)
